Bring in the chocolate and read away

Following "The Hired Hand" Hands on training continues with Joey and Heath and Grant? A great M/F/M m�nage but, it warm, loving and spine tingling (other parts but, this needs to be PG rated) good read. The struggle among the three of them to simply talk and admit to what they want is the journey to being happy. The fun is watching it unfold. Joey is gorgeous, Heath and Grant are hunks (And Grant is a chef......gah good food and sex!!!!) The story flows neatly and is truly a great path to follow as you watch the affair unfold into a real relationship.
I gave the book five stars because it deserves it. I don't judge a book by it's editing and someone missed the boat on the editing. It isn't a struggle as some novels I've previously read but, it does need to be addressed. If you don't mind an occasional slip then you should read this now. If you are an editing snob......avoid until the revision is put out. Either way this is a book to put on your MUST READ LIST.

Another steamy read from Melissa Schroeder

We met Joey and Heath in The Hired Hand but this can be read stand-alone. Joey is a knockout who is constantly being judged by her looks and not her brains. Heath made that mistake when he met her. The two of them get along like oil and water and now they have to work together on site for two weeks together. Despite the fact that they don't like each other they definitely feel combustible chemistry but are smart enough to know they shouldn't mix work and pleasure. When they get stuck sharing the honeymoon suite their passion explodes and it may take three to keep it planet bound.

Good story, abysmal editing

The story was captivating and compelling. The tension between Heath, Joey, and Grant scintillating. Unfortunately the total lack of editing forced me to reread and mentally correct almost every paragraph. It becomes exceedingly frustrating to be in the flow of a good story only to see words are missing or incorrect pronouns. As an example, He watched her face as she tried to pull herself out of morass of pleasure he knew she was feeling, and focus on him. At the moment her eyes met hers, he almost gave up. But he needed to be sure, to know she was deciding to this and not have any regrets. Spell check will not solve missing words or mixed up pronouns.
Miss Schroeder, you have crafted a sexy story, but please have another pair of eyes check your writing before it is submitted. Take pity on your readers. It also seems unfair to expect payment for a book with such an abysmal lack of editing. Since there are no half stars, I gave it 4 stars, but in truth only deserved 3 1/2.
